The Ren bookshelf adds to Neri & Hu’s collection of the same name.
The Chinese “ren” symbol, a graphic weaving of lines that emanates intimate elegance, continues to serve as the overarching motif to create small and light pieces made up of smart suspensions, clever balances, and simple interconnections inspired by an eastern concept of places and design.
The Ren bookshelf has shelves covered in Saddle Leather and a Canaletto walnut frame. It is a geometric weave of lines that comes in three different variations, each of which varies in height, width, and the number of shelves. Furthermore, one of the three is self-standing. Bookends in brushed steel with a natural brass finish are an option for all variations.
