Marianne
The Marianne vases, designed by Michele De Lucchi and available in two models from Poltrona Frau, are never exactly the same.
Each one is a one-of-a-kind design, a true testament to the art of blown glass.
The blowing occurs in a free and open mould made of steel blades. The incandescent glass is pushed between the slats with a different movement depending on the strength of the breath, and the shape of the resulting vase is always slightly but noticeably different.
