The island sofa - EDRA, On the Rocks

With On the Rocks, the sofa immerses in an unprecedented dimension of comfort that places itself and those who experience it at the centre: a soft sculpture that can be assembled according to everyone’s needs, allowing to share the joy of maximum relaxation or to enjoy it in complete solitude.

Its geometric structures can be varied in a single composition or decomposed from one another, changing the point of view of the spaces and allowing maximum customization and freedom of expression.

The history of design - B&B ITALIA, Camaleonda

Today’s Camaleonda is a reissue of the original: it maintains the characteristics that made it an icon, but better. If the shapes, design and capitonnè are the same as always, the interior has in fact undergone a complete overhaul that has made it more sustainable and pleasant than ever.

The modularity is almost infinite, and allows each element to transform itself into a sort of huge pixel through which to build one’s own living space. The modules can be unhooked and reassembled as needed with the help of tie rods and rings, allowing the sofa to adapt to changes in taste and the changing needs of its users while always maintaining its recognizable and distinctive identity.

Wooden details - CASSINA, Sengu

A modular sofa with large volumes and linear geometries that aims to re-establish an intimate and convivial dimension through its open designs that encourage interaction.

Created by Patricia Urquiola, it is inspired by the Japanese custom of cyclical reconstruction of temples and aims to promote a ritual of welcome, physical and mental well-being and familiarity. With the help of corner pieces and end pieces, a pouf with or without a small table, and other components, it offers many compositions that are never traditional. The wooden details instantly make this design even more welcoming and cozier.

The modular sofa - DEPADOVA, Alberese

Symmetrical, linear and adaptable. It’s called Alberese and it’s a modular project by Piero Lissoni for a modern, personalized and welcoming living space.

An assortment of upholstered modules with sloping armrests for relaxing, reading and socialising. All the components of the system – single modules, corner modules, chaise longues and poufs – share the deep seat but each time create unique solutions to tell small and large everyday stories.

A bit sofa, a bit dormeuse - GIORGETTI, Galet

Living with the Galet project foregrounds the flirtatious character and sensual curves of daybeds and vintage furniture.

With a solid ash base and a variety of lounger, sofa, bed and ottoman options, it can be upholstered in one or more fabrics for a modern look that can be customized to suit a variety of preferences.

The leather sofa - POLTRONA FRAU, Happy Jack

The Happy Jack sofa, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, invites you to sit down and experience its contours like an embrace.

To create modularity with a shallower depth, the comfortable sofa does away with the lumbar cushion and leaves only the backrest and armrests to provide support and comfort. The fluid-looking upholstery, available in fully removable fabric combined with the leather of the shell or in Pelle Frau® leather entirely covered in removable fabric for the seat part, further emphasizes the sense of softness.

Something new - FLOU, Fiocco

Fiocco is a sofa that invites you to relax and let yourself be enveloped by its softness.

Minimal in its modularity and design, thanks to the ample padding of the modules it allows for the creation of sinuous, welcoming compositions with a strong visual impact. Simple U-shaped metal tubes connect the components of Fiocco, further enhancing its softness.

Everyone can find the right support and comfort thanks to the two different heights of the back cushions.

The round sofa - MAXALTO, Amoenus soft

Revolving circular sofa which, regardless of the style and the environment in which it is placed, manages to become the undisputed protagonist.

It is part of a series that also includes poufs, armchairs, linear sofas and modular solutions, for elegant furnishing proposals that express themselves with a strong personality and contain great comfort.

The museum piece - GUFRAM, Bocca

A red sofa in the shape of giant lips designed by Studio 65 and made for the first time by Gufram in 1971. Since then many versions have been re-proposed in the most disparate colors and materials, but its soul as a true pop icon has remained unchanged.

Fun fact: made famous by Vogue, the sofa was conceived as a tribute to Salvador Dalì, a quote from his 1935 work entitled “Mae West’s face” and which portrays a room whose shape takes the form of a woman’s face. Easy to guess, in the painting the lips are actually a sofa.

Organic shapes - MOLTENI, Surf

Surf is a project that is not only ergonomically perfect but also aesthetically pleasing. The seat is integrated with the base and has rounded shapes on which enveloping, slightly protruding backrests rest.

Straight, chaise longue, corner, and partially backless end pieces are expertly paired to create a variety of distinctive compositions that are appropriate for a variety of settings while retaining each piece’s freshness, compositional freedom, softness of lines, and project originality.
