The Naviglio seating collection is a visual dialogue between structure and shapes, consisting of curved, linear, and terminal elements, chaise longues, and ottomans. Synthesis is the essence of the project, and it begins with a name that reminds of the Milanese river, exactly like the seating base is a riverbed that defines the space for a backrest/armrest as sinuous as a river.
Each shape, like a puzzle piece, is ergonomically designed into a single cohesive unit, and the nature of the object dictated the choice to design a sofa without seat cushions.
