Paola Lenti is the result of the desire to create furniture built in a “new” way, able to bring the external and natural space into our daily life, with outdoor furniture proposals that were beautiful, comfortable and able to withstand the time test.
The origins of Paola Lenti
It was 1994 when a small team of artisans transformed an intertwining of threads into a product with a refined design, of incredible quality and stylistic research.
It was 1994 when colors, lines and shapes came into contact with each other in an explosion of creativity typical of those who dream big.
It was 1994 when Paola Lenti and her first rugs were born.
Today, almost 30 years later, the same craftsmanship and quality are declined in a catalog with infinite facets, capable of responding to the needs of most: from boating to residential and commercial contexts, both indoors and outdoors. The design philosophy of Paola Lenti has always been based on these principles and, after Rope – the first round-section spun polypropylene that has made Paola Lenti famous all over the world and that has just turned 20 years old – and with years of research and development, has led to the birth of Diade, Maris and Twiggy: yarns and weaves that make it possible to create ever lighter, low-maintenance, waterproof and, last but not least, totally recyclable.
Present and future
Among the new proposals just presented by Paola Lenti at the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone in Milan, the one created in collaboration with Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana stands out, a natural extension of the brand’s vision of tying together “sustainability and aesthetics, design and social responsibility, giving rise to a vision of “regenerative” living in continuous transformation.“
