On October 16, the Poltrona Frau Store Carrara by Interni now hosted a special evening in collaboration with Leica, dedicated to the encounter between design, technology, and the culture of design.
At the heart of the event was the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau and presented for the occasion in a new interpretation. Lazzeroni himself shared the story behind its creation and evolution, joining Giovanni Baldi, the new CEO of Poltrona Frau, as one of the evening’s special guests.
The first part of the event featured a talk between Davide Biselli and Roberto Lazzeroni: a conversation that began with the story of the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet and developed into a broader reflection on design, the creative process, and the way a project transforms and evolves over time.
The evening then continued throughout the Carrara District, where guests were invited to discover the spaces of Franchi Umberto Marmi through a journey combining art, design, and marble galleries.
This exploration of materials and design culture concluded in the Galleria Umberto, transformed for the occasion into the setting for a seated dinner curated by Ristorante Extra.
An event that brought together different yet deeply connected worlds — design, technology, materials, and craftsmanship — gathering professionals and design enthusiasts in one of Carrara’s most distinctive destinations for design culture.
